Consular Outreach

The next consular outreach in Koh Samui will occur in October 2022. Details below:

Date:               13 October 2022 (Thursday)

Time:               9am - 12 midday

Location:        Samui Tourist Police, 119/18 Moo 1 Bophut Koh Samui 84320, Surat Thani

Appointments are not required, and individuals will be seen in order of arrival.

All fees must be paid by debit card or credit card only. Please note that cash will NOT be accepted.

Notarial services during outreach will be limited. Please read the information below carefully.

During the outreach, staff can:

  • certify copies of original documents (documents must be Australian or for use in Australia)
  • witness signatures on certain Australian documents or documents for use in Australia
  • the taking of Australian Statutory declarations being made for use in Australia by an Australian entity
  • the administering of affidavits, oaths and affirmations for use in Australian court or legal proceedings

If you have instructions from the requesting authority, please bring these with you.

For certified copies of documents and CNI applications please bring both the original documents and complete colour photocopies of each document.

Getting Married in Thailand:

Please note that while Consulate staff can accept applications for a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI) and take the fee, we cannot issue the Certificate of No Impediment at the outreach. Applications will be processed upon our return to Phuket and posted to you soon after.  For further information on the requirements for a Certificate of No Impediment, please refer to the Getting Married in Thailand page on this website.

 

Passport Applications:

Applications for Australian passports will not be accepted during outreach.

The Australian Consulate General Phuket is available for the lodgement of passport applications and notarial services. Please make appointment and see further information at Australian Passports.
